To be eligible to purchase an Alberta Liberal Party Membership you must:

• Be a resident of Alberta (a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada)
• Be fourteen (14) years of age or older
• Purchase the membership yourself
• Agree to subscribe to the principles, aims, and objectives of the Alberta Liberal Party
• Not be a member of any other organization seeking to elect members to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta.

Memberships expire at the end of the calendar year. However, memberships purchased in the last three months of the year are valid until the end of the following calendar year. 

Monthly donors are automatically members. 

Members have the right to vote at Annual General Meetings, Special General Meetings, Policy Conventions, Constituency Association Annual General Meetings, and in Leadership Races.
